A Place To Crash: Miley and Hannah: A Childless Adult’s Review

You noted that Disney may have been responsible for the G-rated feel for this show (and it could also be a response to Jamie Lynn, not just her sister), but there's also the possibility that dad Billy Ray may have something to do with it. I've never really probed into Billy Ray Cyrus' life before, but it's something to think about.

I have no doubt that Billy Ray and Tish (her mom) have had a lot to do with Miley herself. I read an article once where Tish talked about grounding Miley because she wore a stomach-baring top once and refused to change into something else. But I've seen a lot of Disney shows of late, as well as High School Musical 2, and all of the stuff is like that. Heck, even the dancing has evolved into toeing the line of sensuality but never going over the line.

And all of this is a great thing, BTW. I have a 6-year-old niece who is being brought up with good role models, and she doesn't seem to feel any pressure to dress like anything but the tomboy she is.
